where do you get a 6 speed transmission??
I want one too

4.56 ratio if you are going to 35" or larger tires

With that 6 speed you could probably turn 48s.....

well as far as i know they make a 6 speed for a ranger but if i had to i would make and custom fit one in. so in other words dont put 456 gears in it

rangers never came with 6 speeds. highest they've gone is a 5 speed. that is, unless i'm apparently smoking something and don't know it... lol.

oh no your right i was just saying since 456 gears r pretty low for a ranger you know. then instead of running a 5 speed i would switch to a 6 speed somehow i would figure a way to get it to fit.

stick with 33" and the 4.10 until you lift it
you should MOD that engine for performance - it takes to it well and certainly can use enhancement

last thing i heard about a possible 6 speed was that Ford and GM had a team working together to create and build one for upcoming vehicles. until then, you'd have to find another and do some fab work.
