m5od downshift issues?? Help!

m5od downshift issues?? Help!

I have a 1998 ranger, 4.0, 5 spd (m5od), and 4 wheel drive. The clutch has less then 30,000 on it, along with the throwout bearing, pilot bearing, and pressure plate. The truck drives fine, clutch grabs fine, fluid full, however on a downshift the truck jerks like something is not catching. Also, once in a while the truck will go into gear, make a scraping noise until the gas is hit... It only has these issues on the downshift, not a hard upshift, Any ideas??? Clutch has worked great the last 30,000 and this just started yesterday, its got me stumped

Hmm i have no idea man. Ive never heard of that and if you drive it right the clutch should not be done.

Also i like 15 minutes from you. We gotta meet up and check each others trucks out one day my grandma lives in them senior citizen apartments in hubbard.

i drive it right no worries on that.... i'm starting to think something in the clutch disc or pressure plate is messed up

maybe a synchro is starting to go bad on ya.
