Manual 1354 Swap

Have an electric 1354 in my 96 4x4. Just bought a manual 1354. Have read all sorts of different things about speedo sensors. Am I going to be able to hook my speedo up to the new manual one?

You won't have to worry about the speedo issue. Thats for 01+. Your sensor will be in the t-case. Just make sure the case you bought is from a pre 98 truck and has the sensor in it.

It just has to be pre 98. 02 and 03 the sensor was in the tranny. No manual case was offered 98-01, 04-current. pre 98 the sensor is in the transfer case.

98-00 the speed was read at the rearend.
