First - show me the adapter that converts a new style shaft to double cardon....because I've never seen one.
Second - If that is true, then why reference Beard when you know good and well his adapter is a double cardon to the tulip style case and not the type of adapter Lefty would need? If that were the case Lefty's superlift shaft would work perfect.

Here is Beard's adapter. It would not work for you if you went with an older case because it does essentially the same thing as the superlift shaft. If you go with a new style case then you wouldn't need anything as your superlift shaft would work fine.

What? You mean just flip it around and bolt the t-case side of the adapter to the driveshaft? If thats what you mean I'm going to assume you haven't actually looked at a new style driveshaft.
