Mitsubishi to Mazda Tranny swap

undefined I have a 89 ranger with a mitsubishi tranny, and i was wonderin if i could swap it out with the mazda one without tomanny problems.

you would need to find a mazda M5OD from behind the same engine bolt pattern that you have (either the 4-cyl, the 3.0L, or the 2.9L/2.8L/4.0L) and it needs to be same drive as your truck, either 2wd or 4wd. There are actually 6 different physical versions of the mazda, 3 different engine bolt patterns and 2 drive options so that makes 6 different combinations and you need the one to match what you have. If you put some more information about your truck we can help you by giving a more exact answer for your application.
