A few months ago my girlfriend whipped the back end of my 2000 3.0 V6 4x4 into the center barrier on the freeway.

Several days later I noticed the back wheel on the side she hit has a pretty noticeable wobble. There’s no wobbling in the steering wheel so I guess it’s not that bad, but you can easily see it driving behind me.

I had Les Schwab try to balance the wheel and they told me I had a bent rim, as expected. So I bought a rim, got it on there, and the wheel still wobbles.

The only other thing I can think of that would cause this would be a bent axle, does that seem right? Let me know if you have other ideas.
