Need help from someone with an '03 or newer owners manual

Can you tell me the fluids and quantities required for the '03 Fx4 Level 2 axles. I tried searching but couldn't find it.

put some oil in, stick your finger in, if you can feel the oil level then call it good, if not... then add more...

Chris, thanks, that is exactly what i needed.

It doesn't mention the friction modifier, but I knwo the torsen requires it.

"6Add 118 ml (4 oz.) of Additive Friction Modifier XL–3 or equivalent
meeting Ford specification EST-M2C118–A for complete refill of
Traction-Lok axles."

that is a handy link thanks.

The friction modifier is added to clutch type LSDs like the Ford Traction-Lok to help prevent chatter while turning. Gear type LSDs like the Torsen do not need it.

So the friction modifier that the manual states is required for Fx4's is for the regular Fx4's no the level II's with the Torsen's?
