Calling ALL '98 4.0L 5spd manual 4x4 owners!!

Hey.

Trying to help a friend get his truck running properly...

I need the PCM 4 digit code located on the top of the PCM in the engine bay.

Your truck MUST meet this criteria:

PCM is located on the firewall towards the passenger side...

          The code will be a 4 digit code....Will be LLLN(L = letter, N = number).... Here's my 2001 4.0 5spd 4x4...

          yuppers

I assume the "O" is an oh, not a zero because the other zeros they had there had a hash mark across it.

Like I said in the PM, Let me know if you need anything else

Hey big redneck.... In case he can't find it by that PT02 code....

What's your PCM read on the 1L5A-12A650-(XXX)

X = your letter combo... Shane's is BEA and so is mine... That's how I found my right code was by that last 3 letter combo.... If you could chime that in, I think he'll be able to find it easier. Thanks.
