why is that so important - they are all Q, R or S
all have speed ratings in excess of the limiter of a stock Ranger
anybody with a chip who wants to go fast should have some nice street tires anyway

my BFG AT KO are Q rated
my BFG MT KM are also Q rated

Q is not a speed rating. it's a studless/studdable rating...
as in snow studs

sincerest apologies...the chart i looked at online didn't have it listed like that. if you don't mind me asking, where did you get that chart, so i'll have it for future reference and i don't make myself look stupid....

What it says after the speed is just to give you an idea of what kind of tires come in that speed rating. There are plenty of snow tires that are H or V rated as well.

plenty of snow tires in the H & V rating?
to get a M&S rating the compound has to be soft and the lug spacing large, I doubt there are plenty of choices
I am not saying there are no choices, but they are expensive and not very common
examples would be tires from Pirelli, Michelin, and the Bridgestone Blizzacks
