i got a 1984 ford ranger with a 2.8 5 speed transmission it is bolted to a 1986 2.9 v6 but i wanna know if a 4.0 will bolt to the 2.8 5 speed i dnt wanna go to a automatic. so plz give me some help and let me know wat year 4.0 i can use if they'll bolt straight to the 2.8 tranny thanks guys/girls.
