New Transmission Line leaking at radiator.

Had a transmission line leak.
Replaced top and bottom lines. cutting them to allow for existing cooler.
Lines (Dorman) and fittings matched the original but now my top radiator/transmission line connection is leaking.
These are simple double flare connections.
I removed line and cleaned the connecting surfaces but it still leaks.

'98 Ranger 4.0 automatic.

A picture is worth a thousand words. May need to reflare the tubing ends or use a very small amount of RTV\Teflon.
Are your TransCooler flare connectors like these that I shortened for a new AllAlum radiator on a 2001 V6~4.0L~SOHC?

But a picture that keeps changing while you're trying to study it, is worthless.

Yes it's the simple flared design just like brake lines.
Unfortunately I can find noting wrong with the sealing surface.
This fittings thread, unlike the other three, is a snug fit.
But cranking it down does not help.
It's apparently leaking at the sealing surface and is a stream, not a drip.
Radiator fitting is steel.

Does your fitting need a missing a Rubber\Plastic Washer\ORing Seal?

Sorry,
Got simular comments from the local FoodPantry\Charity about a recent donation of several cases
of BelugaAlbinoCaviar
and DomPerignonChampagne
that I had no use for around the house. May need to reconsider my philosphy about such things.

I, for one, found them helpful. Could be they change quicker on some browsers.
And, BTW, A techie from Dorman agrees with you; bad flare.
I'm going to borrow a flare tool from Autozone (I have one but god knows where it is, and he aint talkin.) cut the line back and reflare the end.
If that doesn't work I'll wait the 7-10 days to get another new line.

I appreciate your help.

Thanks.
