Pics of your diff cover please....

Sometime before summer I'm going to be upgrading my diffs. Maybe front and back but at least the rear. While I'm at it I might as well get a new pretty (but functional, stronger) diff cover because my crappy stock one looks like it came from a rusting Dodge. Here is one I found from a guy on explorerforum that I like a lot. It's obviously RockCrusher but he powercoated it. I haven't found any numbers but are the RockCrusher diff covers stronger than the stock stamped cover?

I assume the they you're referring to is the RockCrusher?

Here is a neat little bulletproof test

My stock cover is plastic. Is that gay or what. The more i am reminded of the cheapness of the ranger the more i hate it. Sorry for the rant

www.Ruffstuffspecialties.com has a beefy diff cover.

Yeah I've banged mine up a few times and I'm just waiting until the day it starts leaking and taking a crap on me. Hopefully that won't happen until I'm locked on at least one axle.

Why would you need a front cover when you cant even see it let alone HIT it on something?

BTF, Ruff Stuff.. they all have really nice beefy stuff
rock crusher's covers are supposed to be near indestructible..
dynatrac's are also beefy but i dont think they make them for an 8.8.. D60s and maybe 44s?

ALL of which are 100x stronger than stock. maybe 100's an exaggeration but you get the point..

i forgot who offered it but if you destroyed one of they're covers they would replace it for free

i also didnt read they whole thread. but putting a thick cover on the front diff is useless. if you get a rock into that cover that will be the least of your problems haha.. with the explorer IRS cover.. they look all pretty but they're just thin ones too

i wish i had got a full cover.. like the ruff stuff one but i got this.
I figured why spend the extra what? $30-50 for a full one, i figured if your getting the top of the diff your in some tricky ****
