Pinion Shims

I have AAL's and shackles in case you haven't already heard.

To make a long story short, a friend of a friend has a lightning, he is dropped 6" in the rear and did not correct his pinion angle. He had a terrible 40mph bounce b/c of it. We put 6 degree shims in last night, and it rides like a dream!

I have a 40mph bounce, and also about a 70mph little one. How many degrees of a shim should I use? Has anyone else used them before? I really need to, because I think that is definetly what is wrong with my truck. It's really bad and it would almost spill a drink if you had it in the cupholder. At 38 it is fine, at 42 it is fine, but at 40, it's really bad.

So I was thinking something like 4 degree shims, maybe 6 degree?

Does anyone else have them? And where can I buy them? I don't really know much about them? Like summit racing?
