Icon3 Pretty wild idea

So this is what a boring saturday leads to. If your AVM hubs are hard to lock in like mine are sometimes this is the perfect thing for you. Or if your truck is buried in a water hole and you don't wanna crouch down in there and get your pants and shirt all wet to lock your hubs, this is great. It just slides on to the hub and you spin. So check it out....I'll make you one if you want. $18 and idk how much shipping would be. I painted mine flat black.

*noob question* what do locking hubs actually do? do they act as a locker or is it totally different?

totally different. they lock each front wheel on the axle shaft. The axle shaft will spin when you put it in 4wd then you have to lock each wheel in. the hubs wraps around the axle shaft and locks that wheel in.

looks pointless... you still have to get out into the mud.. all you'd doing is bringing your hands away from the tire.. which I am assuming will still be in mud less than a foot away, lol..so my question is.. why have this big tool, when you're already right there with both hands to turn it..

read the first post. "if your hubs are hard to turn like mine are sometimes" mine have gotten to the point where i could barely get them with my hand. so this will replace my fingers and make it much easier lock in.
