94 ranger slipping from second to drive.

94 ranger with lima and automatic, 146,00 miles.

just bragging on the truck thinking it would make the 200,00 mark and "this"-happened.

truck will upshift fine completely, cold, under normal conditions.

when truck is warm, or in grade transitions IE --gentle rolling hills-- the trans slips changing

from second to drive .if you dont let off of the gas during the shift it will catch and engage like a

shift kit was installed.

can anythig be done?

the truck has been babied since new and looks new for a 17-18 year old truck.

Ever done a filter and fluid change?

Ever had it all flushed out?

Check the fluid level, warmed up, running in park.

I ended up trading it for a 2004 with a 3.0 and a five speed.

the trans bands were worn out and the fix was too much for the value of the truck .

glad i am in the new truck
