Welcome to the forum

Look on the drivers door sticker to see what you have now: Ford 7.5 & 8.8 Inch Axle Tag & Door Codes

AXLE code

1998 to 2009 Ranger or Mazda B-series will work, but you want to match the axle ratio so speedometer will be correct.
If you can add L/S, Limited slip it is nice to have in slippery conditions

You could go to 2010-2012 axle but they have disc brakes which is nice but would require some extra work.
