Replacing CV axels

I am thinking about replacing my front axels. I am going to be regearing so I was thinking while I am in there I might as well just replace the axels too.

1. About how much are they ?

2. Pepboys carry them or do i have to get them from ford ?

3. Any heavy duty ones out there ?

we have a ford ranger that isnt being made after 07, i dont htink anyone is going to waste time on aftermarket CVs. you can have custom ones made if you want. im sure its in the ranger of 500 each.

If they ain't broke why are fixin' them? Not trying to be ***, but yours are probaby perfectly good. A better idea would be to hit the old JY and pick up some trail spares. I grabbed one from Harry's for 15 bucks.

dude I don't hate you, i have no hard feeling toward you at all. I am not trying to be an "internet tough guy". I was being nice. I nicely asked if you are not going to be helpful please don't post and you are the one that got all bent out of shape.

and I'll change my avatar if I want to. Which I just might because my truck doesn't look like that anymore anyway.

I just hate stupid wasted post. I asked a simple question and I just wanted a simple answer.

Why even bother making a totally stupid post. You either know the answer to my question or you don't. If you don't know the answer don't post.

I don't know I bother anymore.
