Should I buy an install kit for my gears?
I'm buying some gears from www.completeoffroad.com. I noticed they offer a Master install kit here:

Is it required that I use an install kit, or is it just recommended?
Can I just take out the current gears, and install the new ones? Can it be that easy??
On a side note, should I go with 5.13, or 4.88 for running 35" tires. Is there a big difference between the mileage between the two?

X1000! Especially if you dont have the right tools. If your truck has the dana 35 front end like mine, they are not easy at all. My step dad attempted it, realized he did not have the right tools to do the job, took it to a local mechanic(who builds stock cars for a living) and that guy found some stuff that my step dad messed up(because he didnt have the right tools), had to take it to the local machine shop, etc... ended up costing close to 300 bucks just for the front gear install..
Deff. take it to a mechanic who knows what they are doing.. If you Mess it up, your going to end up spending more money and time than you care to.
