thump felt during light acceleration/braking
2000 Ranger XLT Supercab , 2 wheel drive, auto tranny, 3.0 v6, 373 gears. aluminum 1-piece driveshaft... completely stock truck.
When I'm at a light I press the gas pedal and I feel a "thunk". I also feel it when I'm slowing down almost at a stop. I've been searching a lot on this topic and I can only find that slip yoke might need two be lubed. But most of my sources say thats for 4x4 trucks which my truck is not. Has anyone came accross this or can give me some advice please. thank you guys for responses....
