Slave cylinder removal

Slave cylinder removal

Im doing the clutch and slave on my truck and was wondering how you take the line off the slave cylinder? anything else i should be aware of when i do the clutch and slave.

There is a removal tool you need. You should be able to get it at any parts store. It works on all Ford hydraulic clutch lines.

I was able to just use a wrench that is the size of the line, and slid in the plastic collar and it popped off. Ive heard of just using a screw driver and pushing in one side at a time.

thanks for the info.ya well mine was siezed up so i just used the air chissel and broke off the female end.
