Squeeking from under the bed?
Squeeking from under the bed?
And before anyone says anything... yes i tried to search lol
I have some really annoying squeeking coming from under the bed of my truck... so much that i can barely stand to have my rear slider open, its all i hear. I only hear it when im driving... smooth road or bumpy road it doesn't matter. And occasionally i get a clunk when i put it in reverse.
Im going to guess that its my u-joint going bad... but want to get some second opinions before i settle on that. Its a cheap part, but im not even sure where to start at changing it lol Im not really sure how to check it, or if anything else could possibly be causing this annoying squeek noise. So any opions or options would be greatly appreciated.

Def sounds like the rear u-joint. I had a squeek/squeal that would bust your ears when the rear slider was open.
Park on the level , chock the wheels , and drop the driveshaft from the differential.(4 bolts) It most likely is the rear one giving you problems.
