If there is any interest, I might be able to get more of the stock 1992 Explorer shaft assemblies like the ones that Fx4wannabe01 and RangerNVS converted. The cost would probably be somewhere around $160~180 each shipped but they are genuine Ford, new, never installed, complete with the Spicer universals. Little to no rust, just a little dusty from storage.

If you decide to go with a manual 1354 get an older one that has the u joint style front output flange. You can then use a 95-97 Explorer front driveshaft that already has a double cardan u joint system that will work very well with the Superlift.

And if you put in an older manual 1354, there's no need to shorten the shaft! It'll bolt right onto the tcase's front output. In '98 Ford changed the front output of the tcase to that stupid CV bucket thing.

Hence why I love my early 1354 manual with the Explorer double cardan driveshaft that bolted up. Thanks again Shane!

You can swap the front output shafts between 1354s. My current t-case is from a 91? 93? Explorer, i took out the output shaft and put the one from the 99 ranger case in.

Nice! In a couple months I might have to get one of those.
