T-case Swap
T-case Swap
ok i have a 1994 ranger 4.0, 5 speed, with auto or electric T case, i found a Manual T-case but it,s from a 1993 4.0 Auto trans, the qwestion is: It will work for my truck? also the manual Tcase doesn´t have the shifter.

You will need the tailhousing with the bolt bosses and the linkage is easy to find.

your 93 should have the right holes in the tranny already my 94 did. since the pre 97 trucks were more common to have a manual tcase so most of the 97 and older trucks have the holes for the linkage. just get under your truck and take a pic of the drivers side of the tail housing and we can tell you if you have the right parts.
as long as its a from a 90 to 92 with a 4.0 it be a 1354 and any case from 93 up will be a 1354. everything else will be a 1350
I know that. Thanks. Just making sure he gets the right case. The 1350 would work but it is weaker than the 1354.
i figured you did just wanted to make sure he gets the right case too.
