T Case swap help
T Case swap help
I am about to swap my electric tcase for a manual one. My truck is a 96 and the case is from a 94. Both cases are 1354's. Its tough to find a complete picture of what the case should look like complete out of the truck so I just want to know if I'm missing anything before I start this swap. This is what I have, do I need anything else?

Couldnt fgure out if whats attached to the shifter is the linkage or If I am missing a longer part.

The case is turned the wrong way....but it appears you have everything but the shifter ball and the part of the linkage that bolts to the stud sticking out of the case.
on the far right of this pic...

Here's an assembled 1354M....(little different linkage as its a 02-03 unit)...

Thanks for the pics guys, I can make that little piece at the shop. and yes I need a ****.
That little piece...has a rectangle hole with rounded ends...you can do that?
?
Part number....letme see what I can come up with..
?
I'm saying make something to slide over that linkage with a threaded set screw to push into the linkage. If that makes more sense... Like how those aftermarket shift ***** are usually done. Shifter slides over the arm and a set screw keeps it in place.
which part of the linkage, not sure what you mean? Ae you talking for the shift **** or something else?
Posting to shane's hack at me.
Talking about a set screw to go through the upper handle of the case linkage to the lower linkage. SIMILAR to how it works with afermarket shift *****. I can't really explain it any more with out spelling it out.
