Alrighty, I now have a Bronco AOD and manual 1356 combo, The downside is the AOD is shot, the fluid was a nice pepto pink too.

So It all looks like it will work, but before I tear into it, will the tailshaft be direct swap over to my AOD?

I want to keep my tranny since its in tip top shape, and I don't have the money to rebuild this one.

So I'll do the swap, keep it for a spare or maybe sell it.

 

I got some advice over at FSB, the swap, as I thought, is possible and not too hard.

I just gotta tear both trannies apart.

So then I'll do all that good stuff, get a 3.73 8.8 and I'll be in business.
