Ticking noise

Ticking noise

I have a 2000 ranger after it warms up I get a ticking noise I can hear it through the hole where you put the bolts in for the torque converter could the torque converter be bad

3.0 250000 a friend of mine said he had the same noise and it was The part that hooks onto the intermediate shaft when it goes into the oil pump he couldn’t remember the name of it can anyone help me , I changed the cmp shaft and sensor it was quite for about two weeks and started back up again , he thought it was called a keeper but I called a bunch of auto parts stores and they didn’t know what I was talking about
