Time to take care of that 4WD Problem...

Time to fix this up once and for all. They arrived today... a whole 2 months in advance (They were listed as backordered until late March)! Thanks Tellico4x4!

Probably won't get them installed until Wednesday night or maybe Saturday. Gotta figure out a way to make the center caps I have right now go around them and still have them look decent.

Right now, I'm thinking I'm gonna take a hole saw and just cut out the right size hole. I might have to shorten the center caps a little bit, so I still haven't figured out how I'm going to bevel the inside edge (to hold the center cap behind the wheel) without completely hosing up the aluminum finish... but I'll cross that bridge when I get there.

I already have a set sitting on a shelf here ready to go if/when my PVH system craps out. But nonetheless it's good to hear that the AVM hubs are still available.

I was thinking of using a "hole saw" drill bit to cut the holes in my center caps when the time comes....

I have aftermarket wheels, but I wonder if the hub will fit underneath the center caps on the stock wheels? Maybe not the best solution, but when you think the weather might get at all questionable (most of the winter) or plan on wheeling, pull the center cap off and engage the hubs, put the centercap back on. Seems like cutting the center caps would let mud and stuff glob up in there. Just a thought.
