HELP, 4WD being stupid!

Im not sure if this goes here or in the Electrical.. but w/e heres my problem:

MY 4wd works.. but it jumps out of 4wd all the time, i think as long as i keep moving it stays in 4wd, as soon as i slow down or stop it jumps out

WTF is going on? solenoid?
that and the driveside CV shaft doesnt spin as fast as the passenger, maybe due to the fact that the hub assembly is going out..

could it possibly be that theres a vacuum leak thats making it come out of 4wd?

>>it just pops out, no warning, i try and go over a rock or something and my rear tires end up being the only ones turning.. I HATE IT!!!!

Pulse **** is goin bye bye soon enuf...AVM hubs are quite a bit cheaper than i expected.. 100 a set? im guessing ill need some kind of install kit too?

i know it goes into 4wd, i can feel the lower gearing in 4low. would a vacuum leak cause it to jump out of gear? or a hub going bad?

just got back from advanced, the guy may know, or he may b an idiot, anyways he said a vacuum leak could cause it.. so hopefully the new hub assembly and avm will cure it

if you pulled the clips then vaccuum shouldn't matter anymore. You may just have a blown hub or a damaged one if the one was mashed together.

so the vacuum has nothing to do with the t-case popping out of 4wd?

exactly.. its still bad you have a vacuum leak.. so i'd take the time to find it and block it off.. as well as replace the hubs.. which should be why its not pulling
