drivin down the road today actually about 2hrs ago its dark.

BTW its manual with new synchros and clutch and slave cylinder.

anyways. drivin down the road put into 5th gear noticed my Back up lights TURN ON....
said ok. what the hell? then it started being stubborn and hard to shift. stopped at the stop sign put the truck in Neutral and it died... push clutch in.. start right up. put in Neutral again and it acts like its in gear and so i put into 1st gear goes NO WHERE. it dies ANY GEAR like parking break is on. but mines not. got pissed started pushin truck a lil got back in started back up for the hell of it. put it into first n started goin. i hurried my *** home.. now i need help...

ANY ONE GOT ANY IDEAs? was makin a weird *** noise but nothing really ever happened almost like a wap. wap wap only when in 1st and reverse.
any help/

 

rod above the fill whole at its 2oclock was unbolted what is it. it has a star head on itt.,,,,,
