Transfer case counter weight

Hi,
I have a 98 Ranger 4x4 4.0 manual. I have just spent the better part of a year trying to find the tail shaft cover for my truck. It is a hard part to find. Found it, got the truck back together, drove it to work 1 day, and had a hard vibration when I got off I-90. Turns out i lost the counter weight off my Borg Warner 1354 transfer case. Lovely.... Well, I went to my local salvage yard, they don't have one.
Which brings me to the question, is the BW 1354 the same, no matter if it is an automatic or a manual? Should any BW 1354 have the same counter weight, no matter what it is mounted on?
If anyone knows, it sure would help me quicken my return to fishing in the mountains of Montana.

Appreciate your help.
