Transfer Case Drain Plug MIA

I read this How-To. I already knew how to change the transfer case fluid but my transfer case doesn't look anything like that. I found the fill plug but where's the drain at?? Please help.

All went very well, I just have one question? What the hell was that? lol. That lil thing must've weighed twenty lbs. Is that some kind of counter-weight? That's the only thing I thought it could be.

It's a mass-damper assembly to help control vibration - basically a rubber mounted weight tuned to counteract an objectionable noise or vibration frequency.

Is that balancer indexed on the shaft? I'd be worried about having it out of phase with the imbalance that it's supposed to correct. Then again, due to the rubber isolating mount, it may not matter. Food for thought anyway...

It doesn't spin. It's just bolted to the case.

Yeah and those damn four bolts holding it to the transfer case were some of the tightest threads on a bolt ever. My arms were getting all rubbery by the third one. I had to stop and have a beer before I could reinstall it. lol It was a pain to squeeze mercon III through a 1/4 i/d hose. It was like four feet long and my buddy wouldn't let me cut it. An experience to remember.
