Clunk When Going out of 4wheel drive
hey guys i have a 03 4.0L auto ranger, when i turn the 4wheel off for some reason there is a clunk, it doesn't happen all the time just sometimes, I noticed when the 4wd light goes out im still in 4wheel cause i can feel it in my steering and when i rev up i can feel it vibrating but it eventually goes away or makes a clunk then i know for sure its off .
Not sure what is causing this, might be because i have a 6inch skyjacker lift with 33inch tires which is probably causing alot of stress on the 4wd but maybe someone can point out what could be happening.
Thanks for looking and any help is great help.
