transmission service price????

alright so i took my truck down to the local shop and had them check out my tranny because had a a slight jitter whenever i would stop or accelerate and it would only happen then..i wanted them to change the fluid but they told me that they think the seals have gone bad on it and fluid would do much. so tommarow im taking it down to the dealership and im gunna have them check it out. my question is that if they do have to change out the seals, how much do you think it will run me. thanxs

Oh.. I'd guess two hours labor + $150 for fluid and filter + parts. So.. $350-ish.

Not sure since this is a week old post................

Sounds like your torque converter is slippin a lil'..............you could put a bottle of friction modifier (skunk oil) in it & it would help the slippage.

GOOD LUCK!!!
