trasfer case ?s

can i bolt a manual t case from a 87 ranger to my 94 ranger with and electric tcase?

uhm, you should?

they should be the 1354Manual and 1354Electric.. you just need to figure out the linkage as far as i know.. but double check that lol

Im pretty sure it would be a 1350 not a 1354 in 87.

dang it i was going to get it for free too **** well theres 3 or 4 trucks up there that have manual tcases how can i tell if its a 1354?

A 1350 case has a slip yoke for a front output. It would work, but you'll need a driveshaft as well.

so what yours saying is all i would need to do is take the drive shaft out of the 87 and the tcase and it will bolt right in i already have the correct tail housing on my tranny

The 1350 had a lower input torque rating than the 1354. Although some owners have retrofitted them, Ford never used a 1350 behind a production 4.0L.

idc im not going to be pounding on it have stock size tires and im going to be using my truck to drive back and forth from college this winter instead of my probe Gt i wont get up my drive way with the probe when it snows so my ? is it will at 1350 bolt right in and work if i use the front drive shaft from the truck i take it out of?
