u-joint install..

this was my first time replacing a u-joint on the truck, or even ever for that matter. i got a brand new greasable one i must say it was A LOT easier than i expect providing you have the right socket! for those who do it its a 12mm 12point socket and you NEED an impact gun. heck if my camera had some batteries i would show you how bad the old u-joint really is, i mean there are absolutley no needle bearings left the sleeves are cracked in some areas, and not to mention but i also ended up breakin my vice! yes thats right my vice. i was tightening the u-joint plate into the vice and SNAP! goes the vice, but i still managed with a hammer and some really big sockets. if i find any batteries before it gets to late ill get some pics up of the damage.

well this install went great and made my day, thanks for reading thought i would share my day with you guys!

i have yet to do the front u-joints, they wont be dont untill i get the front re-geared and the axle shafts are out, then ill upgrade and also do the axle shaft mod and put full circle clips instead of the pos half circle ones.
