well i used the right socket for it, it was on a chrome thing that came with the impact set, then on a impact socket extension piece... this is after soakin it with wd-40 and some other stuff... i give up for tonight... its cold out... dad finally agreed to help tomorrow... keep the tips comin...

It looks like you already rounded one of the bolts, are you using a 12 point socket. If you are using a socket that came with your impact then most likely it is a 6 point and is going to round off the bolts.

its a 12 mm 12 point bolt.
try heating the flange with a propane torch the loosen the bolts.
i have a special socket made by matco for removing these bolts, it cost 50 bucks. wd-40 is a "water dissplecer" and is just about useless. these bolts have a high strength loc-tite on them and can be tough to loosen.
once you get those bolts loose your gonna have to replace them. at least you paint marked the shaft

are supposed to give it a whirl tomorrow... and more than likely get new bolts 
. we dont have a torch... would a hair dryer work lol 
haha jk.i re soaked with this power catalyst spray stuff, hope it will work over night... we might have to drill out the bolts im thinkin... but who knows... dad takes after my grandfather, probably where i get it from

yea a 12mm 12 point socket, or a 12mm box wrench will perfectly along with a large cheater bar or another wrench for leverage. If they are still tight you can use any cheap propane torch (like used in plumbing) and really heat up the bolt itself because it will soften the lock-tight used from the factory. Don't be afraid to get the bolt glowing red if you need to just be REALLY carefull working around it after its been heated because it will stay hot for a long time. I've lost many fingerprints due to things I've been working on.
