ugh weird noise!

I've been having a noise coming from the back of my ranger the last few days. It has gotten worse. It's like a loud mouse squeeking noise. It has something to do with my driveshaft or what it connects to. Whenever I give it throttle, the squeeking becomes louder and faster. It doesn't always do it but alot of the time it does. It seems to stop once I get going. I THINK. I checked my transfercase and rear axle fluids. I am good there. U-joints maybe? I put it on a lift at school and turned it on and I got under it and the sound was coming from about 8" up the driveshaft from the rear u-joint. So the sound must be coming from somewhere else since idk how the driveshaft would make that noise.

my truck squeaks too. Its the bushings in the shock mounts. try throwing a little grease on 'em before tearing into your drive shaft or whatever else.

The rear U-joint is probably dried out .Just because it isn't loose doesn't mean it's still good.It will just get worse as time goes by.
Change it now before you end up on the side of the road.

Probably a u-joint. Remove your driveshaft and move the yoke in both directions and feel for any roughness or binding.

It's a U-Joint. If it's really high pitched and gets louder the more power you apply and faster you go... It's def a u-joint.... They go it. **** happens. They're cheap though. Get it fixed!
