What do i have??

i know its been covered but im still confused about knowing which axle and spline i have in the rear of my truck.

because it's a 4x4 and 4.0, i believe you have a 8.8" 28spline.

you have a 4.0L.... and its not a level II so its an 8.8 28 spline... as for ring ratio look at tag like mentioned

Zach. you make life easy. All i needed to know is in your post and shane wasnt sure but he was thinking that. Im thinkin about locking the rear end. L.S. really gets aggrevating.

Don't you have to buy an open carrier to run one? Also everyone stopped making a locker for the 28 spline except for powertrax. Owning a Ranger FTL some more.

if you've got a limited slip, you must swap in an open carrier, then the locker can go in. BUT....that involves swapping carriers...and when swapping carriers, you need to reset backlash and gear mesh....which is the same as setting up gears. Should run about $100 labor for swapping in a new carrier.

really really... thought even if it had the factory clutch pack it can be swapped in also.. guess not i just know how they go together not what carrier..

might as well get an aussie then... or is that 31 spline... i never shop for these damn things lol... my LS works i dont rock climb its good enough

aussie is strictly 31spline. lockright is 28 and also 31.

aussie isnt strictly 31 spline, they have a 28 spline for the ranger, ive already looked at it

Nope. Only for the front or Exploder/FX4 31 spline.
