What is the size of the Nut on my front Pinion?

I have my front Pinion Seal leaking on my 2004 with 4.10s. I was gonna do it in the driveway one day soon. I was just gonna drop the front drive shaft and mark the nut and pinion then take the nut of then tighten it just a little past where it was marked so i wont mess up my backlash.

Well my question is what size is the nut on the pinion i know i dont have a socket big enough and i gotta go borrow one thats the reason i need to know

thanks

Man, I hate to tell you the wrong one, but I do believe its like a 32mm or something. But then again, it seems like a standard size fit it too. Hold on....

Seems like it was either that or an 1 1/8th. Search through some threads on this. There is a very detailed thread on it somewhere. Its the one I used when I changed mine.

I don't remember off-hand, but I will look tomorrow and let you know what size socket you need.

I tried to find my old front pinion nut but I only found the rear. The rear pinion nut size is 1-1/16". I believe the front is as well.
