Whining noise,.

Just lately When driving I have been hearing a whining noise, It only happens at slows speeds when you let off of the gas. I Think its coming from the rear end, My Dad suggested it may be the clutch throwout bearings going bad. It used to do it once in a great while but now its more consistent. It Will whine when running about 20-25 when decelerating. It doesn't seem to do it when at high speeds. Anyone have any idea to what could be going on,

Thanks
