Will it fit? Extension housing question

I found an extension housing from a 91 explorer with a 4.0 5 speed. Mine is a 99 3.0 5speed. Is the extesion housing interchangable?
Thanks John

I believe they are all interchangeable for the BorgWarner 135x (1350, 1354) in electric or manual. However, the manual shift case extension housing has special bosses to facilitate mounting the linkage.

Mine is automatic so it shouldn't matter. Thanks for the quick reply. BTW I was checking out your car domain pages...nice I am going to do the etac mod when I gather up the parts.
Thanks John
