Hi , all new here....I have a 2001 ranger 3.0 with auto trans,when i put it in drive or overdrive it will not shift out of first gear.I did change the valvebody plate and gasket pus a new filter and fluid,and it still does the same....If i put it in 2nd gear it will up shift threw the gears and downshift ok.And reverse is fine.Does anyone have any ideas of what could be wrong?Or have had this problem before.....Thanks for any input on my trans problem............

 

Any codes? sounds like bad range selector sensor.
