hey guys im looking, not religiously, but lookin for new rims and tires. i asked about some egals that a member had and i decided that i like thelook of the classic 2's and the bigger holes better. but i came across these and idk what would be a fair price. im going to look at them tomorrow or thurs, but he said that the tires are excellent and the rims need to be sanded and painted. what you think? and whats your opinion on my truck?

honestly u have one of my favorite rims that came on the rangers, but its always good to change things up

 

i know isreal these are but i really get tired of things quick and like change... i know ill be mad down the road if i sell these rims and tires. cuz ill hve to to buy the new ones... im just so torn thats why im always askin ?'s like this

$350 looks like a decent price... but I like the look of your current wheels better... do you have spacers on there?

 

yea i do really like mine now but i want soemthing new. i like to paint mine like tylers but idk how i would start. and yea i have spacers in front, why? you like?

 

not d's look more like wagon's but 33's would be nice.

wash your wheels to get mud dirt off

sand till nothing is shiney 400g worked for me

wipe with acetone and a clean rag to remove contaminants

spray using light even coats then finish with a slightly heavier wet coat

works only as well as you prep, if it takes longer to paint then prep you might have done it wrong. make sure you use an enamel paint duplicolor/vht wheel paint or high temp engine enamel works great

 

Or when I get new wheels you could buy them haha and I don't know the process. I didn't paint these. xp1ik99 was the one who owned these before me and he did them.

personally i like whats on your truck better then the add.

 

i think minimum back spacing on rangers is either 3.5 or 4.5. you should check that out.
