corner lights

I will be using the VHT niteshade paint on my tail lights soon and was wondering if I would be able to do my corner lights as well? How many coats of paint should be applied? I was thinking of going with clear corners, but I have a black truck, with tinted windows, and black tube steps so I am going to be staying with the black them, with the exception of the wheels. Any ideas on the corners and number of coats of paint? Thanks in advance

just do a few light coats. i did my stock tail before and they came out completely black becuase i put on like 5 coats...lol...couldnt see them at all in the daytime. just go easy on the stuff. also get some clearcoat paint so you can keep them from fading or peeling off later on down the road.

The fronts I think shouldnt be done. unless you also tint your actual headlites, like '04 mustangs....that'd be pretty cool. Taillights look awesome no madder what. Mask off the reverse lights, and shade the rest.

Heres my suggestion. I'm not really a fan of painting the lights. I also have a black ranger with tint and I got a pair of black headlights and corners and they look great.

I have a 2000 but these are the same brand as mine

I don't think I've ever seen headlights painted that way, I've just seen the covers painted. I'm not sure how they would turn out.

Iwas thiniing if I left the cover for the corner light alone so you can still see the amber turn signal, and taped off the refletors inside the headlight, so you still get the shine it might work, has ayone tried that?

that is exactley what I am looking to do. Did you notice any difference in the light at night after it was painted? I just got done repainting my grill about an hour ago, and I love it!! I am wanting more now lol. was also thinking of taking the grey bed caps (its an edge) off and painting them as well!!
