I had to replace my whole fog light on my 04 the guide fell off literally the guide within the sealed light came unscrewed. You are going to have to go through rockauto or go to the dealer.. eeekk. If you buy a new fog light thats why they come with new honey comb exterior pieces. That piece clips into the bumper and has those **** that the metal screws... screw onto.

Yes, what I have highlighted here in Yellow

unless your ranger is completely different than mine, that honeycomb piece pops out of the valance adn has those **** that those steel rings screw on that help secure it to the valance. Or am I talking about something completely different. I wish i had pics when I was replacing my fog light.

you see the two mounting tabs that are on the left, sorry I dont have time to circle them. but thats where those ****/ nubs are that those screws tighten down on to help secure it to the valance. the only real bolt that you need is for the hole that you see on the right hand side which is held in with loctite. When you pull off the fog light assembly you are going to have to break those nubs off in order to get the screw type things off. Which is why a new one has to come with the new honey comb piece, it has new longer nubs that the screws tighten down onto.
