I know that the new Ranger emblems/badge whatever you want to call it, have alignment pins when they come from factory. i just got a few questions bout them.

1. My truck being a 99, does it come with the holes for these alignment pins?

2. Do the new emblems come with adhesive already?

yes they come with the double sided tape on them and as far as I know the pins fit any truck 93+

woo! lol i think ill be making a stop at ford to order them later on.
screw the salvage yard i went to they want 12 bucks for them and the dealer wants 14 so i might as well get new ones with the adhesive already to be put on.

 

Dang my dealer wanted 22 for them when I was looking. But yeah one of the easiest mods I've done

 

one of the dealers around here wanted like 15 each so it would have been like 30 bucks

Are you getting one for the tail gate? and if so are you putting the bigger ford emblem in the middle of the gate? i was thinking about this but didnt order three just two, but now i might have to get a third. How do you go about putting the big ford emblem in? Drill holes? and its adhesive too?

 

The big Ford emblem just sticks on, I just trimmed the alignment tabs off with my dremel.

Yeah i just redid my order from tasca and i got a third emblem but not the big oval they want 30 for it and can shove it lol i wasnt sold on it anyway

 

My ranger emblem on my tailgate is warping and i gotta get a new one, anyone got an idea of somthing to use to get the adhesive off with out messing up the paint or clear coat?

Anyone know the measurements for a factory 06 left hand sided emblem located on the tailgate? I want to put mine on the right but want to know how far from the edge and how far from the bottom to mount it.

 

Theres alignment holes in the fender itself. The emblem are the same on both sides

Oh gotcha. Just take the measurements from the left and flip it.

 

I don't have the measurements from the left as I have a 98 :) I'm looking for the measurements on a 06 tailgate though.

 

You might not be able to match it though since it has to cover up the holes for the ford emblem. I just covered the holes and moved it to where it looked good left and right
