get two! Lay one down flat at the cab then put another one sitting on an angle on it n use a strap on each side thru the back side of the top rim to hold it down. without lookin in the bed it looks like a pre runner mount. trust me i did it! hahahah

what I like about mine is, if I need the bed space I can take it out and there is nothing but a small hole in the bed. Locked below the bed

You can kind of see the Fabtech angled spare tire mount I used to have in the picture below. I liked it but between the toolbox and tire mount the bed was practically useless. So I ended up taking both out and put on a tonneau cover.

Here's mine. I like the location, just not the mounting method. Still thinking of how I want to secure it. I actually moved it to the other side cuz it was making for one hell of a blind spot when changing lanes.

Here is mine. Free because my friends dad gave us some metal he wasnt gonna use...He works for some steel building company...The labor was also free because my buddy did it...Same with my rollpan....Just made a box and cut out a section of the bed and welded it in...It will fit a 20" wheel with lowpro tire...but right now it just has a full size spare in it.

Dont mind the mangled tailgate...started to install a window motor/track so I can hide my liscense plate in my tailgate when im parked...but havent wired it up yet.

From under the truck...thats how far it goes below my rollpan...Yes, Im parked in no parking.

Look them up on ebay. there are some universal mounts going for $33 and $39.00.

And that bolt idea is great! My spare is just laying on the floor in the way right now.

Here is the link for Ebay:
Universal Truck In-Bed Mounted Spare TIRE CARRIER:eBay Motors (item 400027624654 end time Sep-25-09 1022 PDT)

That did not work. Try this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

I guess you'll have to look in automotive under "Universal Truck In-Bed Mounted Spare TIRE CARRIER" or item #400027624654 if the links don't work.
