Ive looked for the thread on this and havent found anything. My 06 ford emblems are peeling. the blue is falling off, so i wanna re paint them black. but I dont know how to get the remaining blue and clear coat off, to start from scratch. sand paper wont work, because ill sctrach the chrome lettering. help?

 

i just peeled the rest of the clear off, then i just used nail polish remover to burn the blue off
