thank god that cringeworthy grille is gone, it looks way better. You need to raise up your bumper up a bit and paint behind the grille black. I ran the 99 bumper on my old truck for almost a year before swapping it but it looked pretty good.

Did you figure out if it was possible to raise your bumper to get rid of the gap. If so, is it as simple as loosening the bolts and sliding the bumper up in the slot in which the bolts go through?

I have a 99 ranger and want to swap to a newer grill. Can I keep my same head lights?

Why would you want worse headlights?
It's been done but it won't be bolt on

Hey, I have a 99 that I would like to convert. That's all you need is the 01-03 grill and headlights right? Maybe a bumper too...

Going to get parts from a 2002 ranger. Whole front end for $100. I'll post pics of it when I'm done along with any notes on issues.
Might get doors for power window and lock conversion.

I hate to rehash an old thread, but what was the gap between the grille and the hood like since you used the stock hood? Any pics of that? Thanks!
