I have a 99 ranger and would like to do the 2003 front swap. I am only doing the lights for now, when I get the extra cash I will do the bumper.

My question is: When I look up parts through my wharehouse dealer called Veng USA. It lists that the header panel for the 98-00 trucks also fit the 01-05 trucks made at the Pacheco Plant. Does that mean that My header panel would work, OR would I have to buy the other header panel???

a 98-00 header panel isnt the same as the 01-03, you got me on which one you need, do any of them say for an edge or 4x4, all i know is alll 01-03 any model will work, 2wd, 4x4, edge if you got any ? let me know, i did the swap on my 99 and if it was me i would buy the expensiver one cuz you can buy the 98-00 ones for 25 bucks on ebay!

no you cant use your header panel you will need:
01-03
header panel.
hood
front lights
bumper
valance
fogs
grill sarround
grill

and that should be all...minus here and there little clips and crap

 

Do I have to get the hood and the bumper also? I wasn't planning on it. I thought you didn't have to get them.

if you do an edge conversion i thnk you will. XLTs will work though i beleive.
